After The Crossing

AFTER THE CROSSING has two parts.The first part is about a man named Haru Ghosh who with his family migrates to India from East Pakistan (now Bangladesh)during the India- Pakistan war of 1971. After the war he settles down at the fringe of a big city (Calcutta).He has two sons; the elder named Kailashnath and the younger Krishnanath. The second part is about Krishnanath who is a wagon-breaker and his elder brother Kailashnath joins the Naxalite movement(extreme left politics).The story is about love, passion and power, depicting our time and its politics.
