A GAME OF WORDSA Game of Words is an assisted negotiation play. The play highlights the clash of values between purists and the council of elders in Pawor. Ugeto and Obi decry the introduction of transcontinental world views and wish to protect the native values of Pawor people. This effort is impeded by express direction from the chiefclaiming that the traditional dogmas are primitive and should not go on in the interest of prosperity for all. But Ugeto and Obi are adamant. Their only hope, native belief, is being blocked. This demonstrates what is happening in Pawor. There is a lack of religious tolerance, flagrant human rights violations, injustice, plundering of public goods for personal coffers, Machiavellian trickery, lack of freedom of expression, subjugation of women, and exploitation of youth and minorities by the Council of Elders. Critics of the Council of Elders and the extracontinental world views are not tolerated. Ugeto and Obi are therefore accused of impeding progress and sabotaging social and economic transformation. Celina assists the parties to reach the Kacoke Madit Agreement.
