‘Raucous Bird’ Anthology

When I was a boy, my father had a canary in a cage. The canary sang every morning to wake us up, and its song was out of this world and brought me onto a higher plane. But apart from the canary, there are a whole range of birds that make so many different sounds/songs. They are all part of the ‘choir’ that is life, and they can be experienced in the ‘dawn chorus’ every early morning before/at sunrise, at this time of year.
